Nurse Practitioner Philosophy Statement

As a nurse practitioner specializing in the intersections of mental health, hormones, and metabolism, I believe in a holistic, patient-centered approach to healing. My practice integrates a diverse toolbox—including diet, lifestyle, circadian rhythm optimization, exercise, supplements, pharmaceuticals, and peptides—to address the unique needs of each patient.

In today’s world, people often align with rigid identities, such as rejecting vitamins or pharmaceuticals outright. However, I believe dismissing any tool is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. We live in an era where stress, illness, and toxicity challenge human health like never before. My role is to meet patients where they are, using every appropriate tool to guide them toward balance and wellness.

For example, the debate over GLP-1 agonists highlights this divide. Like a knife, these medications can be life-saving in the hands of a skilled practitioner or harmful if misused. My goal is to look beyond such divisions, deeply understand my patients’ needs, and thoughtfully select the right tools—whether lifestyle interventions, supplements, or medications—to support their healing journey. With my prescribing license, I integrate pharmaceuticals when necessary, alongside foundational building blocks like nutrition and exercise, to help patients achieve their health goals and restore balance.
